December Challenge: First Times.

fireworkfiasco and I have been jumping up and down in front of our respective computer screens as the watch list for pd_playtime has grown and grown. Thank you all so much! The time for watching, however, is OVER. NOW YOU ALL CAN PARTICIPATE.

Our first monthly challenge will run from today, December 16, 2007, to January 20, 2007 (you've got a little extra time because of holiday madness). Members of the community can post their challenge entries directly here; non-members should post their entries in their own journals (or fic journals, or what have you) and link them to us in the comments of this post. At the end of the challenge, we'll post a masterlist of all submitted entries to the community.

As we've said before, pd_playtime is invite-only -- but these challenges will help us find new, exciting authors to invite! By the time the challenge is finished in January, we will have set up a system of voting on challenge entries so that quality (and not just our idea of it) is assured. We urge you to keep submitting and keep writing for the monthly challenges, even if you're not immediately invited to the community.

Now the important stuff. The prompt for this monthly challenge is [first times]. Interpret that as creatively as you like; we're here for fun (and orgasms).

+01 Gen, het, slash -- all acceptable! We do not bash any pairings.
+02 Anything posted must be rated R or higher.
+03 Nothing illegal, non-consensual, or degrading. (You use your judgment and we'll use ours.)
+04 Members: post directly to the community. Non-members: post a link to your entry in the comments.
+05 You are heavily encouraged to find a beta-reader, and don't hesitate to ask here.
+06 Please include the following information in the header for your fic: title, author, pairing/characters, rating, spoilers, warnings.

I wrote these two ficlets for the challenge, then re-read the rules and saw they had to be R. These are more PG-16 (if there were such a thing). Ah, but who can blame me for wanting to play with the cool kids of Pushing Daisies fandom?

Hey, I think your idea of PG-16 is good enough for us! As long as it involves dirty thoughts of PD characters, we don't complain. :)
