After Hours at the Pie Hole

April was a terrific month for sexy Pushing Daisies fanfic. Challenge Four featured songs by the Beatles, which were claimed by our amazing participants to create the stories below.

Chuck would lay and pant until she was recovered and then she would go crawling back to Ned’s apartment. A late night walk was always her excuse and he believed her.

His eyes were quickly getting that oh-God look — nervous, excited, nervous, lovesick, hopeful, nervous — like was holding his breath everywhere.

She’d been spinning this one fantasy for the last few weeks, adding a touch here and there, creating a world in her mind that felt as real as the one she lived in with eyes open.

Without opening his eyes, he replied, "No - no, this is private, I don't belong here -" He was blushing hard, afraid to open his eyes for fear of what he might do.

His gaze traveled down her figure, now encased in shiny black neoprene with a blue stripe down the side. He sucked in a long breath.

It's my favorite time of the month again -- time to start the newest challenge at pd_playtime! This month's challenge will run from 1 April 2008 to 30 April 2008.

The procedure, as always, is to grab a prompt that strikes your fancy and comment to claim it. Please be as creative as you like with these prompts, within the guidelines -- our goal is to inspire you!

Members of the community can post their challenge entries directly here; non-members should post their entries in their own journals (or fic journals, or what have you) and link them to us in the comments of this post. At the end of the challenge, we'll post a masterlist of all submitted entries to the community.

pd_playtime is invite-only, but we are always pleased to have non-members participate -- that helps us find new, exciting authors to invite!
